TRA Production Worker – TWO OPENINGS!

Production Worker WANTED!

Job Description: This is an entry level position working with sheet metal products. Initially position is to help production workers sort products, hang products for powder coating, pull off painted parts, inspect for proper paint coverage, cleaning and sweeping, moving batches of product, counting product for inventory, lifting boxes up to 75 lbs, operating forklifts, operating hand pallet jacks, and any other general warehouse responsibilities asked of by manager.  Power coating experience is a huge plus and will pay at a higher rate.

Responsibilities: Work as part of a team to aid the company processes to ready the product for shipping • Become familiar with all the products (types for brackets, metals, assemblies) and how they are used and stored; • Think and practice safety daily • Must be able to multi-task and cross train • Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.  Power coating experience is a huge plus and will pay at a higher rate.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Works well with others. Candidate should be interested in learning new products and the end use of those products which help understand the quality required. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Position requires stacking, pushing, adjusting heavy objects. Candidate should be excited by the challenge of accomplishing several tasks at once. Candidate will be expected to operate a forklift. Experience is not required.

Additional Information: Currently all shifts are 8am to 5pm. If you are considering this position, around July or August is our peak season and employees are required to change to a different shift. Future employee must be available for 2nd or 3rd shift during the busy season. Candidate will not be considered if they are not open to working different shifts in the future. Power coating experience is a huge plus and will pay at a higher rate.

TRA Snow & Sun is seeking a qualified individual for a position as a Production Worker within our manufacturing facility located in American Fork, UT. The ideal candidate must show a strong work ethic with personal attention to quality and safety.

JOB PURPOSE: Work on production line and assists with assembling/prepping in the production of the company’s products.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm (must be available to work overtime when scheduled)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work as part of a team to aid the company processes to ready the product for shipping • Become familiar with all the products (types for brackets, metals, assemblies) and how they are used and stored; • Think and practice safety daily • Must be able to multi-task and cross train • Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS: • High School diploma or equivalent; no experience required. • Able to multi-task and cross train on a variety of machinery. • Must demonstrate the ability to follow directions and work within the Production Department to learn the production process; • Willing and able to perform manual labor required of the position (lifting of a minimum of 75 lbs., stacking, pushing, etc. of heavy objects).
