From time to time we, at TRA Snow and Sun, run across
the most amazing people
And when we do…
WE HIRE THEM!
Travis, Brandon and Gary have exceptional backgrounds and are really motivated to serve you.
Gary Heslington’s background in building relationships with customers and vendors will be a major contributing factor in building TRA’s business going forward.
Gary has 20+ years of experiences helping to do just that. He has served as a Sales Territory Manager, Purchasing Manager, Quality Manager, plus a Credit and Accounting Manager which gives him a great overall idea of how business works from start to finish. Working in the carbon steel distribution industry, Gary feels very comfortable in the TRA production facility where snow guards, solar mounting and ventilation and flashing products are made.
Gary is excited about what he calls the “almost unlimited potential” of TRA’s future in the roof accessory industry. He is anxious for new customers to find that he is eager to do business with and for them to embrace his trustworthy business ethics. Previously working for a Fortune 500 Company, he is happy to be working for a local, family owned business where he knows they are helping local as well as far-away customers be successful and strengthen the local economy.
Brandon Jensen comes to TRA with a background as a marketing manager and duties in market forecasting and analysis, new product launches and sales campaigns. He is an energetic and goal-driven person. He loves the knowledge that TRA has the best quality in roof accessory systems that prevent accidents and can help save lives. Brandon earned his marketing degree from Utah State University.
As Marketing Director at TRA Snow and Sun, Brandon will help with strategic planning, overcoming marketing challenges, working in social media, problem solve and taking TRA to the next level in customer outreach. He says that the most exciting part of this new experience is taking TRA to the next level of customer outreach.
Brandon finds it interesting that in this time of online business and personal interactions, which are often anonymous, customers still very much, want a personalized experience. When talking with Brandon, customers will get that personal one-on-one experience they so desire. A customer’s experience should be the perfect experience in all forms of communication from all levels of getting to know our company to becoming a long-term customer account.
Travis Glenn started roofing for his father’s company when he was old enough to swing a hammer, which is great for any roofer who calls in with a technical question. He knows your pain! Having run his own company, he knows what it takes to succeed in the roofing industry. He takes each quote a customer brings to him as his own and asks himself, “If I were doing this project, how would it best be accomplished to be safe, as well as look great when completed?” He works with all customers to find the best solutions for their project. He is dedicated to solving any problem, handling any issues because he always has their best interests in mind. He’s not interested in “squeezing them for a few extra bucks!”
Travis has a BA in both Business Administration and German from Weber State University, spending a portion of his last year of college doing a summer marketing internship with SCHOTT AG, a German company.
His professional life has included managing projects for industrial companies – power plants and pulp mills. Another stint at roofing ended when he fell off a roof in November 2013. When he had healed he was an outside sales rep for Home Depot.
Travis enjoys working with the TRA team and is excited about the future.
